Is this phenomenon normal?

My friend has imaginary friends. They tell him about real events and celebreties in the world. Is this normal?

Also all his imaginary friends are based off real people he knows.

That's concerning. Has he seen a therapist?

If he has, he never told me about it. I actually found stories on this website that were kinda similar to this story.

I'm starting to feel a bit abnormal, since I've never had an imaginary friend. I feel like I'm missing out:(!

Anyway, not normal, at least not to me.

That's probably it. It happens all the time, you over-hear something and imagine your imaginary friend knew it before you did, but he didn't. He's a visual expression of your feelings and thoughts, silly :)

If it was normal to have imaginary friends, then everyone would go around in public talking to themselves. No its not normal.

Didn't you post something similar to this a few days ago?

Yes. But it keeps not accepting this story and i don't know how to make the website accept it. Its the only serious story of mine it hasn't accepted and i really want it to stay on. When I had my old account, this website accepted me just saying lyrics to "Kill You" by eminem. I wrote "A blood stain is orange after you wash it four or five times in the tub but that's normal, ain't it, Norman?" and they accepted that but they won't accept this. I don't know what's wrong with the people who judge these stories. They are not big enough fans of Eminem or something.

Yeah idk, my most likely guess is they didn't get the reference. XD I feel like I commented on your old one and said it was good.. like what are some examples of shit your friend says if this is really serious? Because I would hope that he's faking it, making it seem like he's getting the information from an outside source.

Something like that could be easy to fake. If there was some more solid evidence, that could be something interesting. :P

Out of like 4 stories said in different ways, this is the first one that was approved. Finally! I think it helped that I wrote the word "phenomenon" in the title because it makes me sound like an intelligent adult. I learned that word when I was 10 years old from Dexter's Laboratory. It probably helped that I commented that this is a true story too.
