lol it's normal these days online dating is getting more and more popular though you have to be carefull but I say it's as normal as paying a hundred bucks to just meet girls on e harmoney or whatever.

It's normal, it happens a lot. I met my boyfriend online, and we love each other to bits... we go on Skype as much as we can, and we play online games together...

However, I have to tell you before you go too deep - online dating can really be hell. The one person you love more than anything can't even touch you. You can't hug or kiss or cuddle, yet you get to know each other so well that you really, really want to. It's so nice to have them, but not having them physically can be depressing... just a word of warning. Some people can handle it better than others.

Also, ignore the guys above me .-. The 'nobody on the internet is who they say it is' misconception is pretty old, and nearly completely untrue. One out of a hundred people you meet online are pretending to be different than they are, but most of them are using the internet's anonymity to be /more/ like who they really are. They're their true selves, without society to peer pressure them into neat little cubes.
Which means that when you find love online, it can very often be /real/... which makes it suck even more when you realize you're so far apart, but we've been over that x.x

Ah, Yes It is normal...However not healthy. Falling in love with someone you cannot possibly ever interact with can cause so may problems. Basically, if you can't see them face to face, how are you mean to fill the empty void of physical connection?

Online dating is just sad seriously you'll get sooo attached then you will cry and cry that you will never meet her or your console will break and you will be sooo emotional over that..ive been down that road. :P
