Is this normal to feel paranoid in this case?

Is it normal I ring my best friend like 10 times in a row because my best friend does not answer the first 2 times and I do it because I get paranoid it has something to do with me like ignoring me or something. But in the end it turns out there battery was flat or it was on silent and did not hear it ring and in the end it was not to do with me but I still get paranoid every time it it’s to do with me. And that goes for anyone as well not just my Best friend.

Is this normal and do others feel the same sort of way??

It sounds like you have a fear of abandonment and need to learn how to soothe yourself. I would suggest you see a mental health professional. Check out this website: http://www.borderlinepersonalitydisorder.com/understading-bpd/ and if it sounds like you look into getting screened by a professional for BPD.

I had a friend who was so needy. She'd call and need to know where i was. I think she thought i needed her to be my mum or something. She'd then yell at me later for not answering as if i did it on purpose...if i don't pick up the phone, it's not because i hate you or you're annoying. It's probably because i didn't have it with me or didn't feel like being social.
Anyway, that friendship is long gone.
I'd control those paranoid thoughts of yours. Most people don't like annoying ass friends lol no offense

If I was your friend that would bother me so much I probably would stop taking your calls!

10 times is bit excessive. If the other individual has no reason to want to ignore you, chances are s/he is simply unable to take your call. Perhaps text or email may be more convenient ways of communication.
