Well, a few months ago I was using our family laptop, and as I opened the Internet browser, I saw that a dating website was open. The chat popped up and the guy chatting with her messaged her quite a few times. It was disgusting, the messages they sent. Anyways, what gets me, is that my parents are married. I confronted her once, and she said it was a pop up. I let it go. When you go to the site and search her name, all her info shows, so it's obvious it wasn't a pop up. She always hides it, like whenever she uses the laptop, she'll turn the screen, and start smiling and whenever somebody passes, she closes the tab. I'm afraid to tell my dad, because it would make my family spread apart even worse. I don't feel capable of hiding this to myself anymore. What should I do, IIN?

    I'd tell her either she stops or you'll tell your dad. That would be better because you'll prevent a separation and make her wake up to her marriage.

    My sister and I found out my dad was cheating because we both saw similar things on our family computer. We kept it from my mum and years later he eventually moved out and they got separated.
    My sister and I have both carried around the guilt of not telling Mum for years.. We still have not told her that we knew.
    What your mum is doing is not cool..I would suggest telling her that you know what she's up to and that if she won't tell your dad, that you will. It will be very awkward for you but I could have saved my mum years of heartache if I did that back when I was a kid
