Is this normal that my grandpa is trying to take my grandmas house ?

My grandma is divorcing my grandpa due to the fact he is lying and cheating on her. He live in Indiana and we live in Utah. He keeps running away he sold his parents property there. Without getting permission from my grandma. She hasn't been able to work for the last 9 years do to a car accident. She found out today he wants her to sell her house so he can get half the equedy in her house do to the fact they had to get a second mortgage out in both there names to support his stupid get rich schemes.
