Is this normal (height related)?

My boyfriend's younger sister is 15 and she's 5'10.

Her Mother is 5'2 and her Father is 5'7. Her sisters are 5'3 and 5'4 and her brother (my boyfriend) is 5'9.

I've honestly never heard of someone being hugely taller than their parents at such a young age. Apparently she's still growing too because last year, she was 5'8.5.

Oh and her Mother says she stopped growing at 21 and started growing at 12 just like this girl. So everyone is thinking she's gonna be 6'3 or something at age 21 as that's when her Mother stopped growing. Apparently she was average height when she was 11 and under but at 12, she started growing. She also got her period at the average age of 13 so there's nothing unusual there.

Is this normal?

    It could simply be due to genetics. My dad was 6'4. I've been having so many recent growth spurts. I keep getting taller and taller than the rest of my family, at least on my maternal side. Most of them are of a small stature.

    I know a girl who is 6'2'' and her mother, father and sister are all shorter but she looks like her dad. Just sometimes happens like that. My ex boyfriend was 6'3'' and his dad much shorter but again you could tell he was his dad because they looked like each other.

    i was always taller than everyone in my grade in grade school and middle school, i wore a bra in third grade and started my period when i was 9 or 10. i was 5'7" in the fifth grade. and i never grew after that. i'm 21 now and still the exact same height. so she may already be done growing. it just depends on the person.
