Is this normal: all the songs in my ipod are japanese?
I'm not a Japanese speaker, yet I deleted all the English songs in my iPod because I only like listening to Japanese songs.

Let me guess:
You are an American girl aged between 14 and 21 who loves animé and thinks Japan is sooo coool! You love Japanese guys (especially [insert male celebrity and animé character]! You're trying to learn the language - at the moment you can only speak and write a little bit but you learn the lyrics of the J-Pop songs on your ipod. Your dream is to one day visit Japan! Kawaiiiii!!! :3
Correct me if I'm wrong. Just taking a shot in the dark :P
As for your story, insanely normal. I often find their music very different in how they sound and are expressed and find our own music not nearly as creative unless listening to video game music which ironically isn't always made in the US. As for your name, I LOVE Lovely Complex~ Its my favorite romance anime and I've watched it 3 times already, very hilarious.
I'm kinda of like that.I love japanese music but one thing i learned after years of listening to it is that it never hurts to look up the lyrics in english to really know what their saying.
Hmm...well I think it's odd that you deleted all your English songs. It's nice listening to old music you use to listen to. Plus if you bought the music o_o that would be a waste. Other than that it's not abnormal to prefer music in a language you don't understand to that of one you do. I love Kpop, Jrock, etc etc.
Normal. A friend just called my attention on how 80% of the songs in my ipod are finnish, and I'm from brazil...
It's perfectly normal to enjoy foreign music even if you can't speak/understand the language that's being spoken. My native language is English but as of late, I've leaning more towards French and Japanese music. I have a understanding of the French despite not being able to fluently speak it. Foreign language music is beautiful. It is possible to convey emotions form a connection with your listeners even if they can't understand your words.
I used to only like J-Pop and anime songs as well,
but I've changed over the years
and now I have a nice mix of English/Japanese/etc, songs.
You can never just choose one language!
It's normal to like music from other countries. I like a few Japanese songs but my favorite kind of music is Scandanavian electronic/dance. (I'm American by the way)
Are you the same person that posted the story about Hyde? Anyways I think it's normal. Most of songs in my iPod are Japanese or Korean but I have songs in English too. Just don't get too weaboo because people are gonna hate you.
