Is child sexual experimentation normal children of the same sex and age? I hope that can post a question here without being criticized and put down about it. I am a 31 year old female and from the ages of 5 through 10 years old, a cousin and I would experiment sexually with each other, even when we both knew it was wrong. She performed oral sex on me and penetrated me with her finger. Her mom allowed her and her brothers to watch rated r movies as a child and this is where she learned this behavior.

I still feel very terrible as this, because I would do these things even when I knew they were wrong. I am now 31 years old and have never been intimate with anyone. Because of child sexual experimentation, I don't know if that means that I am no longer a virgin anymore.

    it does not mean you lost your virginity

    Although I understand why you would feel bad about it. Many people don't realize that "child molestation" isn't always from adults but from other children. Especially older children.

    You may want to consider talking to a therapist about this. Also this is a learning point for others - to keep an eye on what children are doing while alone. If a parent is letting a child learn about "adult behaviors" and not paying attention to what the child does in private... stuff like this can happen.

    Normal that kids experiment, but letting a 5 year old watch r rated movies is irresponsible and the fact that you appear to have been scarred from this suggests you should probably go see a therapist.
