So.
I'm 18 years old, so am a legal adult. And do online banking. My mum always logs into my bank account despite me telling her that it's private, and i don't want her snooping around.
She then tells me that if i change my details she'll kick me out the house...???
Is it Ilegal for her to go through my bank account despite me telling her not to

Change the password. I think it's illegal for her to spy, but it is legal for her to kick you out.
Well assuming you are a customer of the bank I work for, she is in breach of the terms and conditions as she has no authority (I'm assuming she has none) over your accounts.
Well apparently its legal to hack into your child's account according to this website. So everyone here is going to agree with it. Though this is your banking information so I think you could argue she is snooping in your personal bank records.
I personal wouldn't mind if my mother read my stuff. I don't make that much money anyways and she helped me sign up for the bank and everything. so I trust her with my bank information. She also showed me how to do my taxes and knows my social security. So I think she probably already knows a lot of it anyways. Its my mom. I don't see what she would do with it.
She never checks my bank records though. I really don't have a lot worth stealing. I don't think she even knows my password either.
I think it's legal? Not too sure. My mom did the same for awhile, but I sort of brought it on myself. I was buying alcohol and drugs constantly(spending my paychecks entirely in a week). She would see how much I was spending and knew right away. Not saying you're doing anything shady of course lol so maybe she'll stop after awhile?
If she puts the money in it. This is illegal, but how can you argue if you wouldn't even have the account without her help.
