In about 5 days my boyfriend and I have 2 years together.
I was thinking about getting us engraved rings and a phot album with all the pictures we've taken..
Is this a good idea for an anniversary gift?

Photo album, yes. Rings, no. The rings will be implying something he may not like.
Photo albums are nostalgic, creative and a good idea, but the rings are too much. If you must insist on jewelry may I suggest matching ID bracelets.
Wow, that's a really thoughtful gift! Hopefully he doesn't feel bad about the gift he gives you.
I think that is an amazing gift, and he will be extremely happy. Though after seeing people's hesitations on the rings, I can see why. Guys don't wear rings, and to get an engraved ring may be a bit much, then again, it may not. In either case, I think an engraved chain/necklace or a watch would be better.
I know I always loved getting picture frames/albums with our photos in them. And I specifically asked for a gift that I could wear every day, and she made me a friendship bracelet.
