No this is discrimination. He can not just fire you since he decided not to like you. You should report him. If he fires you it should be that you are doing a bad job. Not for you existing at all. He is discriminating against you since you do not have children. This says he hate anyone who does not have kids. This is not right or fair. You can take him to court over this.

any law regarding employment will be local to your state or provence. so it's up to you to find out what can or cannot be done in your area. any job is a privilege, not a right. only with a union can a company be forced to keep an unwanted employee, but know that they usually will make you miserable if they are forced to keep you.

if there is a labor board suit, you won't likely keep the job. he'll get fined. you will be awarded severence. though, it could turn out that it is actually less than the two months the dick gives now.

here in the states, a small employer can easily fire anyone they choose to. it's easy enough to document any infraction so that if they are called to prove the firing was legal, they can.

In some states termination for sexual orientation is bad cause. Regardless of reason employer gives you for being fired, contact (I believe) FEHA. They will investigate and make sure the employer did not terminate for bad cause but provide a no cause or good cause explaintion.
