Is this dream of death normal?

Another dream about death that I have is also a hostage situation, I dream I am married to a beautiful wife I adore with all me heart, we are together somewhere when a hostage taker takes control, to prove he is serious he intends to kill a hostage, he slowly walks around looking at which one of us takes his fancy to kill.

He stops at me wife, looks at her, has a bit of a chat with her, making out to be her friend, i keep her so close to me, because i fear what the hostage taker will do to her. He decides he wants to kill her, he takes me wife by the arm, me wife knows she is going to die and she looks at me and begs for her life, she cries out "I don't want to die!", she doesn't want to leave her husband behind and lose her lovely life, she enjoys living so much!

Nearly overwhelmed by tears i move forward and grab the hostage taker's shoulder, he points his gun at me jaw, i beg him to trade me for me wife, I'd rather I died than me wife, the hostage taker is feeling generous and compassionate so he agrees, i'm going to die to save me wife.

He let's me wife go, she runs back to where she stood before, she hugs me tightly, i reassure her not to worry because i will see her again in the afterlife, she, naturally, is sad and begs the hostage taker not to kill me, but both me and the hostage taker know that's impossible, she is only allowed to live because we have traded places, for her to live i must die!

He grabs me arm and pulls me to the window, there are police and news crews and everything watching, he points a pistol at the side of me head, knowing i have only seconds of life left i shout out "Goodbye, me darling! I will see you in the afterlife!". The hostage taker pulls the trigger, the bullet enters me brain, and I die.

In another dream me wife is killed and i enter a depressed rage, i scream for his blood and charge him, i know that i am probably going to die, but don't care, all that's on me mind is dying and being with me wife forever in the afterlife! he shoots me in the head whilst charging him, i have finally fulfilled me desire to join me wife in the afterlife!
