how do u get over a women i dated for 7 yrs broke up because of her excessive drinking and her house became a mess!! i tried to help her over and over to no avail now i am heartbroken!! i dont call or text as i think that would make it worse as she used them to play head games i.e. ignore me etc but how do i get over and move on!!

It was never meant to be.
I've been there too. Not much fun, but you need to keep in mind that you aren't with this person anymore because it didn't or doesn't work. You gotta find someone else who meets your expectations better. Don't waste your time with someone who isn't worth it.
Get busy, go out and find some mates to socialise with, or do some sport. Enjoy the banter and fun of their conversations to create new memories. When you least expect it, a great new woman will come along for you.
