So ive noticed that this girl has been staring at me for a while. I have only had like 1 other class with her before and I never even talked to her. This year I have 2 with her and I always catch her glancing my way so I assumed that she liked me. Being the shy but also lurking faggot I am, I utilized the school directory to look up if she lived anywhere near by and pretty much I went on google earth and looked at her house. I friended her on facebook which was kinda dumb but I honestly dont even go on her account. I went on it like 2 times for a few minutes but that was it. I made an extra fake social media account (not facebook) just to friend her but not message her because I didnt want to seem weird if i friended her on every social media at once.
Is it normal to kinda lurk around when you think a person likes you? I dont think I was being excessive. I didnt call her or talk to her under a fake persona. I guess i just wanted to get to know her without awkwardly coming in contact because we have absolutely no connection at all, we're just in the same class and we sit across the room from eachother.

    Yeah, you're stalking.

    Just send her a Facebook message. Start with something simple like, "Hey, I noticed you're in my class, what's Mr.Blahblah's homework assignment?" Then from there, talk about how annoying class is, or weird shit you've noticed the teacher or other students do that's funny, or anything at all.

    Believe it or not, talking about something as dull as school is a nice icebreaker, because we all have to suffer through it together and it's something we all have in common.

    If she's been staring at you for a while she's probably interested in you. If you're interested in her, what's so hard about just saying "Hi" and then taking it from there? What you're doing now is just playing around and will get you nowhere, but it's not quite stalking

    What you did is called checking out the prospects. I do it all the time. You are normal. By the way, next time you check someone out on Facebook, use a decoy account to protect your identity.

    That is actually what I do... I don't know if it's normal or not but there is no harm in it really if you're not giving out any of her personal information that you find.

    You'd have to give a usable definition of stalking to get a meaningful answer, but I can say this is the perfect behaviour if you're never planning to get laid, unless it's a drunken pity fuck.
