Is this a normal situation?

I have a lady friend I've known a couple years. I'm not sure what we are but I think it's an open relationship. We get along great and she has sex with me often. The problem is she lives with her foster dad and he hates me. She does what he wants and he doesn't want me around. I've offered her to live with me but she stays with him because he has severe health problems and is a suicidal alcoholic. He has also admitted he loves her and he is jealous of me but she doesn't want to be with him. She sees me secretly often because she is not allowed to be with me. We are in our 30's and I don't think this is a healthy situation. What should I do?
