Is this a normal dream
When I was younger 6-10 years old I would have a reoccurring dream. I would be running as fast as I could and then start flying, the strange part is that demons were chasing me.

Dreams are just your imagination running wild. I believe any dream is normal regardless of how quaint/abstract it is. Maybe you had a fear of demons or something similar that caused the recuring dream.
All dreams are normal dreams. You can dream about anything, you can dream about being anyone or anything or no one (with this I mean, not being a character in your own dream and just watching from third person like in a movie), you don't necessarily act or think anything like yourself in dreams, typically very little makes sense in dreams (though, some people's dreams make more sense than others', those dreams sound boring). Some people have reccurring dreams, some people never remember their dreams, some people remember all their dreams, some are able to lucid dream. Your dream doesn't sound weird at all.
That is completely normal! I've had plenty of demons and weird creatures appear in my dreams.
For years I've been meaning to keep a notebook by my bed to document my dreams when I wake up, before I forget them. Lazy ass that I am, I've still not done it. Brilliant things, dreams,, the wierder the better.
There's really no such thing as a "normal" dream. It's a conglomeration of every bit of information stored in your brain played at random.
The being chased dream is very common, especially in children. You probably were bullied as a child, right?
Yeah that's pretty typical. Dreams are often surreal. I've had far more disturbing dreams than the one you mentioned :/
