If you liked someone would you always date them? Or is it possible for life, work, committments to get in the way?

Would you ever give someone up you liked because you just don’t have the energy to give them?

    I would give up on someone if they touched my leg and ghosted me.

      You mean ghosted like Casper did in the movie that came out in the late 90's?
      Yeah he was a normal looking human kid but then turned into a ghost at the school dance. *I* thought that was messed up.

    The hardest part of dating is you are expected to act a certain way. I am just not good at that.

    Someone trying to tell you how to live. I do not live how others want me to.

    Plus if you are trying to date some people, they are likely someone who is looking for ANY excuse to call it off. Like this -

    You didn't remember it was their niece's birthday, that shows you do not care about her or her family or kids.
    The word "damn" slipped out of your mouth at differ because you dropped your fork on the floor, that shows you are a belligerent bad-mouth ill-tempered SOB.

    When we are young, we learn dating is a nightmare. But we ask, "What do I have to do so I can be with someone? Just what is it going to take?" As we age, we think, "If it's going to be THAT much trouble, I don't want to".

    I would never date anyone who is not an animal person! I'm not interested in dating right now, because I don't have the desire, energy, or inclination. I think it's important for people to not allow themselves to be defined by their relationship status'.

    I wouldn't date someone who has kids or wants kids. I don't have the patience or the empathy required to raise one. I also can't stand the idea of having to piss away my money on something I don't want.
