'Planet X' is just a placeholder name for an as of yet undiscovered planet in certain people's theories of the solar system. If such a planet was discovered it would soon be given a name and so would no longer be called Planet X.
Probably but it was probably renamed to some obscure as fuck minor god from the Greek pantheon by now.
Yeah, planet X is the second dwarf planet in our solar system, it's right next to URANUS! XD
I'll show myself out now.
The SF cover-art in that video prompted me to have another look at the art of Earle K. Bergey, who was a prolific artist for pulp magazine covers and paperbacks in the 1930s and 40s.
It's hilarious how often he depicted women wearing very skimpy outfits in obviously hazardous environments - frequently not much more than a bikini top and something diaphanous below. In particular, it's amusing how often there's blatantly obvious nipple show-through. In some of his illustrations, the woman's top is literally being held up by nothing more than her nipples.
Those magazines were on display all over the place in the thirties and forties, and yet when Star Trek was produced something like thirty years later, the costume designers had to work under all sorts of restrictions: belly buttons could never be shown, and while top-boob could be exposed right down to areola, any sign of under-boob was strictly forbidden.
Bergey is generally credited as the originator of the 'woman in a brass bra' trope, the most well-known example of this being the 'Slave Leia' metal bikini in Return of the Jedi.
