Is there a way to change which pictures show up in your windows album?

Yes or no, is there a way to pick and choose which pictures show up in your windows 8 album? I have over 100 but only 27 show up. Is there any way to influence that?

      How? and to where to get them to show up as the displays?

    Are they all in the same place. My Pictures, Public pic's?
    If you right click on your screen and pick personalize you can pick all or uncheck the ones you don' want to show as part of the slide show and how long to show each.
    Open my pic's then open pub pic's and drag them to my pic's or send them to my doc's then open my pic's and drag them to my pic's
