Is there a such thing as a "perfect crime"?

Do you believe there can be a "perfect crime"?

Some say there can be a perfect crime as far as planning goes but it can never be perfect in execution.

What do you think? IS a perfect crime possible? What's your idea (or example) of a perfect crime? What's your definition of "perfect crime"?

Yes, a perfect crime is possible. 57
No, it's never possible to pull off a perfect crime. 15

Yes, I think there is such a thing as a perfect crime. As Floydz said, you'd never know.

That's the difference between the mafia and these twats we have running around now in sagging pants calling themselves gangsters. The mafia was so covert. Anyone could be a member. They had all of the connections and in many cases they WERE the connections.

I remember my Mom telling me about the men that her family often did business with... she told me that unlike these dorks that run around like idiots shooting up streets, when these people weren't conducting their business, they seemed very much like nice, normal, ordinary people.

Yes, there are perfect crimes. But you'd never know... because they're perfect.

No, because at least one person (you) has knowledge of the crime and people, even yourself, cannot be guaranteed to keep information secret. For a variety of reasons: drunkenness, torture, mental illness, bribery...

Ok here is a perfect crime(barely thought of this. Never would do it.) . You and two of your best guys plan for months up two two years of a flawless execution.
First you go and sabotage the cameras or electrical circuits. Make sure you were a bad ass getup/ mask
Second don't break down the door. Find a way in through the roof. Bring flash lights.
3rd because the security and electricity are down you can brake and still shit without alarms going off. Hell ya. Use the money or sell whatever to move far away buy a house save the money do it again and again 3 times then you will be rich and have it easy. Boo-ya lol

0.o I was just watching Detective Conan (Cased Closed in English) and wondering if someone could commit a perfect crime. Anyways, I think it's possible. My definition of a perfect crime would be committing any illegal act that is impossible to be traced back to you with sufficient evidence. An example would probably be if someone committed a murder and the police and detectives found absolutely no clues at all.

It depends on the crime, I think. A perfect con job? Yes. A perfect murder? No.

I think maybe I just have a thing for good cons. Because technically it's a crime, but every party is 100% willing if it's done right. What is more perfect than using wit and whim to convince someone to GIVE you what you desire, willingly?

"Whats your idea of a perfect crim"

    Should i call the police?

  • I doubt it. You have to worry about ongoers that you do not have any real control over. Things can happen outside of the plan that you could never possibly control, such as observers, etc.
