Is the thing with the water normal ?

Is it normal that when i rinse my hand, or even my finger with water i absolutely NEED - HAVE TO - MUST rinse the other one too, and when i rinse both of them i NEED - HAVE TO - MUST (once again) rinse my face with that water too?

I don't go as far as having to wash the face, but when I wash one hand I have to wash the other so they both feel the same in moisture levels.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned a certain overdiagnosed disorder yet... Anyway, I think it's normal OP, you just like symmetry :)

      This.

It doesn't sound like OCD to me. Unless there are other things and they get in the way of his/her life.

i voted yes because i do it. don't know if it's normal, also if i push on one of my fingernails, even by accident, i have to push on all of them the same way to even it out, or at the very least the same finger on the other hand. i know, right?

  • I hurt my hand a few months ago and I vaguely remember being annoyed that I couldn't was both of my hands at the same time, just the uninjured one. So, maybe it is a normal urge, but I think you've taken it to more of the extreme end of the spectrum on this one.

If I step on a sidewalk crack, I have to step on the next one with my other foot or I don't feel right. We all have goofy traits, but this has never affected my life in the least so I don't see a problem with it!

Sounds as reasonable as any explanation that I have been able to come up with!

As long as it doesn't extend to other things.
