I see YouTube that every famous person is a part of or controlled by the Illuminati. It seems that the Illuminati has a keen interest in Entertainers and Politicians.
Are they real? Or has the paranoid public finally gone off the edge?

The illuminati is in fact real. However, they are rather harmless. They have been hyped up into legend and urban myth.
Like many urban legends, they are real, but so hyped, exaggurated, and retold, that they have been transformed into something way bigger than life. They might as well be fiction! The origins are usually much less exciting than the portrayal in the legend.
It's like how in the Bible, most of the stories in it are generally regarded by scholars to have been real events, yet many parts have been altered over time and exaggerated as the stories were told and retold. The most recent part of the new testament was already at least 600 years old when it was first written down.
The point is, the Illuminati is real, but they are not the global spanning secret evil world taking empire they are portrayed as.
