Is talking to vagina normal?

My boyfriend has unusual habit to put his thumbs on my lover lips and then talk to my vagina by moving his thumbs to open/close my vagina and use his voice as my vagina is talking back to him.
At first I thought it was funny and kind of cute but now I don't know. It usually goes "Hi vagina you want some cock? No? You want to bi kissed? etc."
He even does it when I have my period and then he has this compassionate tone in his voice like "Have you been bleeding? Oh poor vagina you feel so sick. If I kiss you would it make it better? etc."
He sometimes calls me on the mobile and insists that I put the phone down there so he can talk to it.
