Is such a dramatic shift in sexual attraction normal?

Until about a year ago, I used to be attracted to girls as young as 5. However, around October last year, I noticed that my sexual attraction towards them started quickly fading, while my sexual attraction towards older women (35 to 70 and even older) started increasing until I was't attracted to underage girls anymore and found older women irresistibly attractive. It only took a few weeks for this to change to take place.

Do you think that's normal? I think it's pretty weird but I'm glad I'm not attracted to children anymore. Why do you think that happened? Hormones maybe?

I'm 19 and male by the way.

I think it's called puberty. Sometimes it creeps up on you and others it slams in like a winter storm. I guess you are the 'storm' type.

I am 21 going on 22 and I have always been attracted to teenage girls as low as 15-17 and above that depending on who,but 5 is too low,in this circumstance I would say although it's strange, good for you,run with that shit, and brace yourself for a weirdo who's about to comment about his weird attraction to little boys.

If you were older I'd say that was very strange, but you're young and still learning about yourself, so to speak, so under the circumstances I'd say it only moderately unusual. Lucky it happened that was and not the reverse, in any case.
