So the other day I was talking to my friend and I said "so & so is cute". He was standing in the room when I said it directly across from us and he heard me and looked straight at me. Then the bell rang and class was dismissed. The next day I came in he was already looking at me so I avoided eye contact. Then the girl sitting next to me (my friend) went to the bathroom so there was a clear view for so & so to look at me. I was looking down doing my classwork and when I look up so & so is already staring at me from across the room biting his lips. So I duck my head and do my work again. What does this mean should I leave it alone ? 'BTW so & so is a replacement for the guys name'

    If I heard by chance someone talking that I'm cute, I'd feel secretly flattered but I'm too shy so I'd feel a little disturbed in the person's presence - but I'm not that guy, he's probably waiting for your next step since he knows you think him cute. Probably he likes you too.

    I'm glad you cleared up the whole so & so thing. I was super confused. By the way, smart move on not dropping the name. I was just reading another post where this guy dropped both his name and the name of his crush. For all he knows she could be visitor of this site, though it's unlikely. But still.

    Staring is rude, but so is talking really loudly about another person right in front of his or her face.
