Is she crazy, or am i just a meanie pants?

I have a roommate. Who I am pretty damned sure is not pregnant. But she knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is. Is is baby mania? We've lived together since november, and every month it gets longer til she's due. Right now she's due in September, (but she's been "pregnant" since october) She bleeds regularly, she's not showing at all (unless she pushes out her stomach) and the doctor won't give her pregnancy tests anymore. She does the at home pregnancy tests and they are all negitive. So I guess what my question is this, is it normal for someone to think they are pregnant, KNOW they are pregnant when they aren't? And even though this isn't something I think I should be asking this on this site, is there anything I do to prove to her that she is nuts?

    No, you can't prove to her that she is nuts.
    You want to use reason and evidence, but neither of these were used to establish her belief.
    You want to appeal to her brain, but that's the part that's broken.
    Unless, of course, you are only imagining that she thinks she is pregnant -- or even that you have a roommate. In that case, you would be the one that is nuts.

    this reminds me of like 3 different instances where this kind of thing occurs when ultimately the women ends up kidnapping a real pregnant woman and cutting the baby out of her because she keeps lying about being pregnant and HAS to produce a baby. OMG I hope your roommate doesn't turn into one of these! Look up Sarah Brady and Lisa Mongomery for two, and I can't remember the name of one from Beaverton Oregon.

    first of all, "meanie pants", really??? anyway, no you can not prove to her that she is literally insane (look up definition of insane and you will see what i am saying) people who are as bat shit crazy as your friend do not listen to reason, they do not understand simple logic. they are fixed on one thing, and one thing only so there is nothing you can do except wait nine months and yell "SEE YOU CRAZY BITCH! I TOLD YOU, YOU AREN'T PREGNANT!"

    Its impossible to say something isn't it? Some people just lie compulsively. But you can't really tell how insane she actually is. She might be very unstable or she might be a liar who is so dumb she actually thinks she's fooling you.

    I don't want to make you feel paranoid, but if she is a liar and she would lie about that and be so careless, imagine what else she would lie about. My suggestion is to get away from her, either way.

    Its not normal but not rare either there are some people who are anxious to have a baby so they get messed up in the head but its just a phase it will pass, i would recommend that you have a talk with her and help her get through this phase.

    wtf is with chiks.. my best friend in highschool said she was pregnant when we were 13 and everyone felt sorry for her even tho there was no proof and she couldnt of had sex we all hadnt yet and she "said" she took a pregnancy test then next week she had a miscarriage and no one talked of it again then my other friend was pregnant and said her baby fell in the toilet and she flushed it while we were at school.. like wtf honestly lol so ya she is nuts im not sure how u can prove it to her..have u seen her pregnancy test result together?
