Im a virgin so I have no clue on this matter. Well, the only information i get is either based on experiances from friends, or the media filling me in through movies or some porn site. But i can only come to wonder if im missing out on something, or is sex just a lustful pastime shared by two or more people.....

Mostly, you will not "miss" anything until you find this experience for yourself. But then, it can be a wonderful way of bonding with a special someone, and just as well be a lustful pastime shared with people just tangenting your life for a short time. Either way the chemical response is concentrated happyness being released into your bloodstream.
It's a beautiful thing and you can do so much with it. I don't see how lust can possibly be a sin if two people want each other.
Happiness is not the same thing for everyone. One might be happy by just being alone, someone else might need a good sexual relationship to be happy.
