I think that she is a nutcase and you should really just move onto someone who isn't so messed up. She is hung up on the fact that she is black and it will just get worse as time goes on.

I can say this as man of black decent that the term itself isn't the problem it's the fact that for generations people always called African people monkeys that Africans looked like monkeys.

Some even go as far as saying monkeys are smarter then African people it has created paranoia and a deep seeded self hatred/rage I suffer from it a lot.

I will say that she over reacted in calling you a blue eyed devil but I understand why she would be pissed as any black person would be pissed.

I can see why she’s offended, but I can also see that you didn’t mean it in the way that she thinks. If she doesn’t get over it, I’d say you dodged a bullet because she’s a crazy one. You told her you didn’t mean it in the way that she thought and she’s still mad. Everyone has their triggers but at the end of the day it was a misunderstanding. She should let it go, and if she does let it go and you guys stay together, now you know her triggers and you should be more careful next time.
