Is pregnancy supposed to be hell?

My wife is pregnant I get 0 sleep. She tosses and turns all night and whimpers in her sleep. Shes vomiting all day long. Always laying down and just angry at everything. I feel terrible but that energy shes putting off is overwhelming. I know she doesnt feel good but jesus christ is this even normal? You'd think she was dying of cancer and has 2 weeks left. Its that bad.

      I try to comfort her, I feel bad for her, but constantly getting bitched at for months on end gets tiring. If I dont say my words perfectly all of a sudden its a capital crime.

    It’s certainly not going to be pleasant. Carrying around a human being inside of you is difficult so what is happening to your wife sounds fairly normal. If it gets too bad she needs to see her doctor. I’m sure there are things that can help.
