Is ok to add sugar to food to get kids to eat?

My girlfriend has a son who is 10. Last week at his fathers house he told us the potatoes that were cooked tasted blahhh,( like all other food that is prepared for him ) His father took care of the problem with a heavy dose of sugar on top of mashed potatoes. The 13 y/o daughter told us you could see the sugar all over the potatoes. Is this normal behavior for a adult father? Just add sugar to the prepared food to get the kids to eat?

No! It's negligent and lazy on his part. He could've just put butter or salt on the potatoes. What the fuck is wrong with him?!

This makes me sad. He is killing his child doing this. Sugar is extremely damaging to the body and mind. I know from experience. This is pure laziness! :(

No. That's extremely unhealthy and damaging.

Sugar can seriously mess you up. Now, I'm on a permanent diet (basically, I avoid processed stuff and sugar) and it's really helped me. I don't have as many nightmares anymore and my mood has improved somewhat. My sleep problems have almost been alleviated by changing my diet too.

Sugar leads to people developing hypoglycemia which in turn leads to diabetes. Not good.

I might be talking out of my arse a little here, but processed sugar is undeniably very bad for you. Ask any doctor.

I'm tireeed so yah. Blood sugar going crazy because of alcohol is why, see?
