I like to tell girls I love them and that they are the only ones for me. I like to make them feel like they are the best thing that ever happened to me just to see the way they react... It's like a sport. Am I normal?

I marked this as NORMAL. However, just because it's common doesn't mean that it's ethical. Lying about something so serious is a pathetic way to get into a girl's pants. It is not and should never be normal.. Ihate to say this- but if all/most guys did that... Can you imagine what a girls response would be to such comments! Girls would prob start slapping guys at the first mention of love or during any sweet talk.
