I consider myself deeply misanthropic, and I'm curious, is it normal if I'm inclined to support the use of hard drugs just because they kill people? It's essentially a form of pest control if you ask me.
I'm serious, by the way.
I love people saying they're misanthropic, it's bullshit. Someone misanthropic wouldn't go on the net and talk or ask questions, nor would they live with people under any circumstance, have friends, speak to people, be around people or even bother to state that they are misanthropic in the first place. So no, your just a poser. Drugs?....something about drugs?

And your declarations of how a misanthrope should behave are totally unrealistic for anyone but the Unabomber, and some of us enjoy the convenience of indoor plumbing, and other benefits of living in a city, for which the trade-off is that we have to sometimes hold a job and associate with the rest of you. We make this bearable by finding anonymous or disguised ways of provoking and making life annoying or unpleasant for you, when we can't avoid you altogether.

Anyway, I may piss people off a lot, but it's not really intentional; I just state my eccentric views and watch as people go nuts. I pride myself on being mercilessly angry and infinitely defiant; if people don't like it, I suppose that's too bad.

Your argument might be valid if simply refusing to engage with the rest of the human race were an option, but that's pretty unrealistic. Yeah, I can see that. From my most pessimistic and misanthropic part of my mentality, if someone is dumb enough to try drugs even though it is common knowledge that hard drugs are:
Damn near instantly addictive
Very deadly
Difficult to get off of once addictive
Destructive to society
Detrimental to quality of life
And unlike other deadly activities such as driving, eating fatty foods or leaving the house in general, carry no possibility for return value or positive return from the investment of time and resources... well... I'll just say that it gives credence to Darwin's "survival of the fittest".
Yes, doing this will get rid of bad people. It will also get rid of lots of good people who made bad decisions. I lost a friend a while back to a heroine overdose, another to pills, have another friend who's struggling with addiction right now.
It is not a normal or at all happy person who walks down these roads, it's not someone who is at a point where they can make accurate judgements about their life situations. Especially heroine.
The first time anyone shoots up, they know exactly what they're doing to themselves. They know how bad it is. But they honestly don't think anything could be better than that, don't see anything brighter for the future aside from those few moments of bliss... and they turn to the needle. Until you've talked to someone who was an honest to god good person who has fallen to addiction, you have no idea. Even then, no one who hasn't been there can truly understand, and that is a place I will never go to.

I'm just not sure if drugs would be the best way acheive that, then again what we're talking about doing is pretty extreme no matter how you go about doing it. I think the human race would benefit greatly from some great catastrophe, something that would blast a hole in the population and afterwards, let Darwinism run its course.
We have made a lot of brilliant things, but we have removed ourselves from the food chain essentially; we are an apex predator worldwide with no system of checks and balances, no niche in our ecosystem.

I feel the same, not that I hate people just stupid people.
If someone is going to be dumb enough to let themselves get addicted to hard drugs and they die that's one less of a unit of risk of us sliding into idiocracy.
On the other hand I had a pretty bad episode with amphetamines and sleep deprivation once, but my motivation was to try and study better. So I feel a little different about amphetamines because they're so promoted as a way to be smarter. But I have no sympathy for people who drug themselves to death trying just to have fun.

The problem is that it also kills the innocent people that get pulled in to drugs against their will and become addicts.
Anyone who thinks people do drugs "against their will" has obviously never done drugs and learned everything they know about the subject from After School Specials. Anyone stupid enough to become an addict is stupid enough to stop wasting oxygen on this planet. Trust me, if you've ever known addicts, you know they aren't people who's contributions to (your so-called) "society" will be missed.
But, being a misanthrope, I hold that opinion of ALL of the rest of you, soooo....
I understand where you're coming from, but when I said "against their will" I was referring to situations that they have no control over, e.g their drink was spiked. Although, If they seek drugs again after such an experience, They are entirely responsible for that.
...but not everyone has the strong will to fight the effects of addictive substances. That one trait of their character does not necessarily mean that they have nothing to contribute to society.
There are also people who will "try it" on recommendation of a friend that they trust.
While for the most part, I agree with you, I do feel that some (not all) of the innocents that are dragged into it are exceptions to that concept.
I support drugs, they destroy non-whites. To bad we have some of our more ignorant racial brothers getting hooked. Oh well, at least it clears out the weak of character. I support free hard drugs for life for all non-whites! Wont catch me around that shit though.
