Is my smell and taste normal?

I sometimes think I'm a strange girl because I have odd tendancies.
1) Sometimes I scratch my butthole and smell my fingers, and it's not a bad smell. It's not a good smell either. I certainly wouldn't spray it on as a perfume and walk around all day like that. But it's interesting. It makes me think of sex. And yes I do enjoy anal, when I know that I've already handled my business. Don't want any 'oops' to happen. Natural but still embarrassing. And sometimes, after I smell my fingers, I even lick them, too evaluate the smell better. I'll never lick it if it came out dirty though, don't wanna get sick. It's a tart taste, and I can't help but wonder if when I orgasm through anal, will it taste different? I'm too embarrassed to try in front of my BF, and honestly, we haven't gotten to that point yet. He's still a bit large for me to take after a coupel of years of not having anal sex. But I know what a great time I've had in the past, so we are slowly getting into it.
