Is my imagination dead?

Ok so i've recently been realizing that all my dreams appear as if they were movies... what is this about? I'm generally not in them too. Does this mean my imagination is dead and i am incapable of original thought? i dont watch that much tv... im probably on the computer a bit too much... but i ahve good grades, friends, and play sports... idk give me some feedback

Any dream is normal as long as it relates to your life
Entertainment like movies relates to every human in this world

Dreams are not normal in and of themselves so who's to say what kind of dream is normal or not. I have had these types of dreams where it's like watching a movie and you don't even know the people, dreams come in many different forms, and if your mind is creating its own movie for you while you are sleeping then that is complete imagination and original thought

A common problem. Not to worry though, there is a cure:

I went through the same thing for a few years. I kept having dreams about people I did not know -- and I was not even a character in my own dreams.

I also used to have dreams where I was working my way through an endless labyrinth.

The first was definitely due to too much TV. The second was due to too many FPS games.

Your dreams don't really mean anything in themselves. It's just housekeeping activity that your brain confabulates into a story. It's heavily influenced by what you spend a lot of time at.

I did the same thing after I watched The Labyrinth. I'd get stuck in mazes and stuff. I don't have that problem anymore.
