I'm female. My grandma doesn't want me to have male friends or text them. However, it's easier to make friends with guys than other girls. Now I have 0 friends. Is she sexist for doing this? 🤔🤔🤔

    Not so much sexist, as over protective to the point of suffocation.

    Does granny perhaps have issues with men in general? When exactly does she think it would be reasonable for you to have male friends? When you're sixty, perhaps?

    It's more of just worrying about you, not being sexist. It is a little over the top of her to not let you just talk to guys, but then again maybe she just doesn't want them to try anything with you, as she may be getting over protective of you.

    Maybe she doesn't trust guys, and thinks that they're perverts who'll coerce you into more than friendship.
