Hi, last week I was hanging out with one of my friends and what he did was really shocking to see. We were at the mall and he noticed a little girl walking near him and he started right then to touch his crotch. Then he started talking about he liked kids. should I be worried if he is a peadophile??

How did he "touch himself"?
And HOW did he say he "liked" kids?
For example, if he noticed the kid and then absent-mindedly adjusted himself before going on about how he thinks kids are funny and would like to have some of his own one day, I wouldn't call him a pedophile; I would call him normal.
"hey Bro lets grab something to eat, Hooters or Chuck E Cheese"
"Chuck E Cheese, I love that place"
"OOOOHHHHHH CRAP!"
Yes, he is. If he ever says anything like that don't humor him. He needs to be made aware that acting on it would not be acceptable, as many don't realize it.
What really strikes me as not normal is his frankness. That's not to say that I don't find your friends behaviour off-putting.
What happens if you say "Dude, what the hell? Like seriously"?
That just sounds odd in general. Even if, say, it wasn't a kid and it was just an adult woman, it'd still be strange for a friend to start touching themselves down there in public and say how much they "like women" or whatever.
I'm questioning how genuine this story is. In reality, if someone is attracted to kids, I'm pretty sure they know damn well what society thinks of it and aren't going to be that open about it.
Duh he's a PEDOPHILE!! Thats not even normal!! Smh how could you even question that kind of behavior?! I've heard of giving someone the benifit of the doubt..but..that's TOO awkward to even consider it not being what it actually was.

Get away quickly- if he ends up hurting a poor child, the police WILL find you.
Wouldn't it be more pro-social to spend as much time with him as possible and keep him out of trouble?
Im more of a survivor- I'd be the one that would push someone into the serial killer and run in a horror movie. So, if it is more socially acceptable to help the person out and try to escape with them, i care not.
The point is self preservation, which can apply to his situation. Why help him when he obviously needs more help than the man can provide. Besides, it is not his place nor responsibility.
Why should the police want to find him? As a witness, maybe, but that's nothing bad.
