Is my face normal?

I have a red vascular birthmark covering one third of the right side of my face. I get lots of people staring at me, and i just stare back. Everyone i meet says i'm beautiful. but is is true? i part my hair on that side, so it hides it, might sound shallow, but you try having junk of your face.

Sometimes it is our imperfections that make us beautiful.

This society... God, I am sick of it. It DOES NOT MATTER if you have a birthmark on your face. You ARE beautiful because you're different. There's a million people in the world that are fake. Don't let one of them be you.

There is a deeper issue here than your reddish skin. I have a scar on my nose that I see and focus on. After lots of study regarding human nature, here is what the deal is:

If you did not have that issue, you would focus on your next flaw because it is part of your personality. We have excuses as to why the boy/girl, job, luck, etc. doesn't go our way.

Most people have met those rare types that don't have any redeeming looks, but have great personalities that attract people like crazy. So who really are the lucky ones? the fragile ego model that is obsessed with looking perfect every moment and feels rejection at every slight, or those extroverted, fun, fresh, people who are just so-so in the looks department?

Who do the millions of magazines sell there junk to and make money off of?

I'm not preaching because I go through this problem every day of every week. But I know this to be true.

to be honest, things like that might stand out to people when they first see you but become normal so quickly! once you get to know someone at all well they will get to the point where they dont even notice at all. true story - my ex boyfriend was a good looking guy but had a huge mole on his face. when i saw it first i thought "oh how unattractive" then like a day later after chatting with him and laughing etc i just thought he was gorgeous and didnt even see it

its unfortunate that people judge by the way they look but if you are insecure about it, wear makeup to try to cover it up. you dont have to be beautiful on the outside to be a beautiful person on the inside. i have a scar on my forehead from when i fell into a cupboard and its right in the centre of my forehead and is very noticeable. i forget its there sometimes but i get people staring, i just dont bother looking at them, i just do what i gotta do because there is nothing i can do about it so there is no point in worrying. there are always going to be people who are going to stare.

Being different doesn't mean you're abnormal ! I think you're a normal person, and you have this great advantage, not being like anyone else, physically speaking. As you describe your face, I don't think that I'll feel nervous/embarrassed/choked in front of you.

Everybodys different and everyone has their insecurities! It's much more important to be a nice person and other people will see that shine through, otherwise they are petty, shallow and not worth knowing anyway, trust me. So try not to be self-conscious about it, you are who you are :)
