Is it just my dad? He’s always making mock-gay or just plain stupid remarks in a fake-gay-ish voice toward me, like INCESSANTLY. And if I don’t respond he gets pissed because I have “a bad attitude”. Lately I’ve been trying to study for my SATs and stuff and he’ll just sit there and make remark after remark, and I’m the kind of person that needs complete silence to read or write, so it’s just driving me CRAZY. I (a HS dropout) have got just a couple months to study for the SAT & Subject tests, the ACT, my HiSET (GED) exam, and a couple AP tests, plus I’m taking two 8-week online classes for college credit, I STILL don’t really get this whole college application thing, and I don’t even know how I’m gonna pay for it (I’ve got FAFSA and sooo many scholarships I’ve been meaning to apply to). The struggle is real and he’s making it sooo much harder.

    Yeah sadly its normal but it makes it all the more sweet when you leave your parents house for good. I have trouble concentrating and my parents would slam cabinets and talk loud while I was attempting to study and if I asked them to quiet down abit they would say "This is MY house"

    Yes it's not his fault. If you fail at school it's not because your dad is making gay jokes. Gay jokes are funny.
