So, I went to the inauguration of President Barack Obama, and I decided to go with a male friend of mine named John. (fake names) John and I have had a history of liking each other, but I thought he knew I had a boyfriend and I wanted to go as friends. The inauguration was fun, and after we got back to his house, he asked me something and I said "oh it's my boyfriends.". John got upset because he wanted to be with me and thought I was single...

to make a long story shorter, my boyfriend found out I went to the inauguration with John and got very angry. Is he being reasonable? I didn't cheat on him, and I told John we couldn't hang out any more.

    I think you should of told your boyfriend you were going with your friend to the inaguration, and I dont think it was a good idea to tell your friend you couldn't hang out anymore.

    You should have told your boyfriend because he probably knows that this own man likes you or has a thing for you. You cannot make a judgement until you ask yourself if it was the other way around and he went out with a girl who wanted to really be with him and he didn't tell you about it and he just found out. If you would, then you know this obvious advice, if you wouldn't, then you'll never understand if it's right of him in your eyes.

    wow, girl if you even care a bit about your boyfriend ,don't do that again to him.

    I am a moderate jealous person (normal) and I know I would feel very dissaponted to hear my girlfriend hanged out with another boy to a such ceremony.

    You should really apologize to him.

    Being at the inauguration of Barrack Obama was your first mistake. If you're involatile enough to follow that megalomaniac, then I wouldn't trust you as my gf, either.
