Is looney tunes sufficient for history lessons?

I learned so much history, classical music, show tunes, geography and so forth from watching the Looney Tunes shows as a kid. Or, sometimes the show would help with recalling or retaining information I learned in school.

is it normal to get a good chunk of knowledge from Looney Tunes?

  • 2/10. It's like you're not even trying.

Come on OP, what happened to you? You're better than this. I believe in you.

    No..

It seems that a "educational boost" would be shows like: Sesame Street, The Reading Rainbow, Between the Lions, etc.

    Sufficient? For what exactly?

But my answer is still no. Bloody good show, though. I *love* Looney Tunes!:D

It is the only source you need, yes. Sufficient. Completely.

No, I wouldn't call it sufficient. It's good to study their contexts, since they were made during interesting times in history. So while I hope they weren't your only source of education, they are good ways to learn about out past.

Well, yeah. It has a lot of history in it, considering a majority of them took place during the 40's and 50's and 60's.

Well, it's a better source of knowledge than public schooling.
