20 years ago I married a lady that had a 13 year old daughter witch did not live with us untill her father died,she was 17at that time.
my wife,her mother died last year and my step daughter movied back home with me,we have become very close, anyway my step daughter and I wae talking the other night about me finding someone to be with, she told me that she would okey with it if i wanted to date again or if i wanted to she would be my girlfriend.what should a old man do?

    I'm actually currently faced with a similar dilemma but thus far have resisted. Because my wife has passed away, it is not legally incest in my state. Also, she only visited us for days at a time growing up. She's nearly 30 now and my best friend. There is a decided sexual undercurrent these days. I know I could go further but I just feel it wouldn't be fair to her.

    I came here to crack a joke about rednecks and trailers, but after reading your post, I couldn't find fault with your plan to take up a relationship with her. Just take it easy, and remember that she may still want you as a father figure.

    I would think about this and see if there is any advantage for you, besides sex of course. Could be that this girl doesn't have a job or any way to support herself and the thought that she has a "sugar daddy" under the same roof might be something that would be desirable to a person in this situation.
    Don't rush in....

    Well hopefully your not Max Hardcore. If not, you should think about wether or not she is just doing this because she thinks if you get a GF she will have to move out.
