Hitler? Hitler was a man of great courage and charisma who devoted his life to bettering mankind. The problem was that his methods of doing so were highly immoral. Evil is a myth. The real problems are greed, ignorance, fear, anger, and desperation. A person with your attitude is no better than Hitler.

Death Note, Dexter, and this. All very similar to Machiavellianism and Realpolitik, rather popular historical ideas.

BUT

Power corrupts. If you could kill anyone you feel deserves it, you'd degrade from killing dictators and terrorists to killing the asshole who cut you off in traffic. Anyone would. Human nature makes it inevitable.

It's like Communism. If it worked, that'd be what we should aim for. But it doesn't. If we tried encouraging that, we'd have murderous vigilantes running around, killing innocents they thought were guilty, guilty men killing innocents they claim were guilty, alliances would form, rival factions would grow, gang wars would rage, it would be an unresolvable mess.

So, if you have info that would help the police or the courts do their jobs, by all means, report it. But look through history. There is a reason nobody ought to be judge, jury and executioner.

Yeah its not uncommon to feel this way. If God told me it was ok and I wouldnt get any jail time...they'd all be dead!! :)

This is a topic for serious philosophical debate. Morality and right and wrong are subject to very different opinions and with many different approaches and reasoning.
The question here is... Is it normal? I vote yes.

Its normal but you know if get started on that the desire to kill will engulf you. Oh and you might wanna start with me because I have never killed yet..... yet. But i have zero emotion and all but 1 psychopathic trait....And a plan.

There is a little thing called "Self control" which is a foreign concept to most people. You can be a sociopath it does not mean you have to follow a urge to murder, you can be a pedo and choose not to rape little kids, you can be a horny teenager and NOT HAVE SEX and NOT GET PREGNANT and USE PROTECTION but most do not think like this.

If you are stupid enough to rape a child you deserve to be shot, if you choose to rape a girl you deserve to be shot, and if you choose to fuck at a young age using protection or not you choice to take a chance at getting pregnant or getting your girl pregnant. They even have the "Morning after pill" which kills the sperm before it can fertilize the egg. Did any of these moms ever think about this? There is too many ways to prevent unwanted pregnancies but people are too fucking lazy to use them.

You have too many ways of preventing a baby if you get an unwanted pregnancy that is your own stupidity. Unless you were raped since that is never your fault. No one deserves to be raped and yes again the whole rape goes with the unnecessary action which can be prevented if YOU JUST FUCKING CONTROLLED YOURSELF. It does not matter how fucking horny you are. You do not rape someone!

Peoples irresponsibility and lack of self control causes other people to suffer and anyone with that lack of control deserves to be punished. People need to take some fucking responsibility for themselves instead of hurting others and not giving a shit.

Problem here is that Hitler is already dead. You could become a gang member and kill other gang members and probably get away with it for a couple years....If you are a complete lame and there is no way anyone would ever find you mingling in a circle of individuals who are shady and you hide in some bushes for days on end to pick off gang members you would not be a bad person. It's normal, although I don't suggest you go and do it.

The fact is, as it's been said, you would be corrupted by it, and you would begin to murder innocent people that you deemed to be guilty.

But assuming you didn't get far enough to really BE corrupted (since you'd likely have a list of people to begin with) there's a good chance you would accidentally kill an innocent person.

That's why we have a jury system, and need things like EVIDENCE before we can put people in jail. Sometimes guilty scum (Casey Anthony) get off free. And as much as it STILL kills me inside that she got away, I'd rather have the system we have then some bullshit dictator system where they would kill anyone they were just SUSPICIOUS about.

But yes, it is normal.

We were debating a similar topic in histoy the other day. Ours was "should Australia introduce the death penalty?" one side argued that the innocent shouldn't stoop to the guiltys level. For example if a criminal murders someone and gets sentenced to death, how is you killing them any better than what they did? They also said that if someone has commited a terrible crime than they should have to live the conquences.....killing them is letting them off kinda easy.
The other side argued that our prison system isn't tough enough. Prisoners get a roof over their heads, 3 meals a day, and they can get medical attention before the rest of the public can. If there is proof that they have done something wrong they should be truly punished.
Idk, these sort of debates can either way although I do think that u r totally normal
