Is it wrong that i have feelings for a guy i never even talked to?

Last year, I met a guy in my English class. We would always look at each other in class over and over again. Well, we never talked to each other. Eventually, I noticed that he was in my other classes and things got a bit awkward when I told my friend behind me that I liked him. Well, she started freaking out and squealing whenever I got a chance to talk a little bit to this guy. Well, needless to say but, he got creeped out and we have had a really weird relationship. I would talk to my friend and say stuff that I didn't like about certain people (implying to him) and he would talk to his friends and talk about how he didn't like other people (implying to me). Then our relationship continued like that to the end of the year.

I though I was done with him until I went to my class the beginning of the next year and noticed that he was in my class. The worst part was that we had to sit close to each other AGAIN!

Another weird thing is that I got a job at a restaurant and he comes in there constantly with his girlfriend (they had started dating in the middle of this year). And we still look at each other now but not as weird as it was last year.

What should I do?
