So I have had a crush on this guy but he doesn't know I like him and he's in a different grade and is with a girl all the time I don't know if it's his girlfriend or his friend because they never seem to show affection to each other but I really like him but don't know how to approach or tell him

You could strike up a conversation and straight forwardly ask him if he's seeing anyone or subtle get him to admit he has or doesn't have a girlfriend. Like "oh I bet your girlfriend wouldn't like that."

Listen to her sweetness, she doesn't have any balls. It's hard for her to approach a man and RISK so much.
Usually she would have an older female tell her crush she has the crush. The man would then see her tasteful insecurity and decide whether or not she was a viable option.
Talk to him, say hey what's up? I like your jacket. Try to be cool about it and don't be all gushy.
You have to do something to break the ice. When you see him just smile and say hi, or say hi to both of them, or try to talk to the girl some time and just ask her. They could be brother and sister or neighbors that got in the habit of hanging out because they walk or ride to school together it something. Maybe you could ask a mutual acquaintance if the girl is his girlfriend. The word will get back to him that you're asking about him and then if he's interested or available he might talk to you first.
Don't try all the stuff you read on this site. Some people here say the most outrageous things just to see what kind of response they'll get. It's their entertainment for the day. If you give him a crotch shot you'll get his attention alright, but if he's interested in you because of that it will only be as a sex object.
