Is it weird to be jealous?

Is it weird to be jealous when my boyfriend talks to my best friend a lot more than he talks to me at times? I mean, she comes to my house at times, and he's here, and he seems more involved with her than me when she's here. She is his best friend too, but still. He wants a three-way relationship with her, and I wanted to try it too, but I was (and still am) iffy about it. I want him all to myself (sorry if that sounds greedy, but he is my boyfriend..) The only reason that I wanted to try it was because I want to keep him happy. I also want her to myself. Not to kiss her or anything, but as a friend, though I am bi, and did like her and kiss her at one point. So, is it normal, or not?

Your boyfriend sounds like an immature jerk and not boyfriend material. If you want someone monogamous find someone else who appreciates you.

Jealousy is a perfectly normal emotional reaction. But that doesn't automatically mean it's a good one. Remember, while you're at home thinking all these things that are hurting you inside, he's out having a great time and has no idea whatsoever what's going on in your head. So it's not hurting him at all.

Every moment you waste feeling that way in a moment you could be using to remind yourself what a good person you are and feel happy.

'If you love somebody, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were.'
There is no plus to jealousy; you'll just drive the one you are trying to keep, away.
