Is it weird that i like to say doggy instead of dog?

I usually say either doggy or pup instead of just 'dog' when it comes up. Like I might see a dog walking around and say "there's a doggy over there without a leash." I just like the way it sounds. Is it normal?

Yes. "Doggy" is just a better word than "dog". When I see dogs, I go "Hi doggy!".

lol, that's cute. I say 'puppy' myself, even if it's obviously not a puppy!! But that's just when I'm doing doggy talk, in that funny voice!! They all act like puppies when you are doting over them!!

The only time the word 'doggy' should be used is when referring to having some awesome DOGGY STYLE SEX!!!!

Doggy, kitty, horsey... Like Dad said, it's baby talk. There's nothing wrong with that, but it is a pet hate of a lot of people, including me. I'd cringe if I heard somebody say "Aw what a cute doggy!"

  • Are you one of those people that dresses their dog in human clothes and dyes their hair?

Whenever I see a dog I call it "puppy" no matter how old it is. I also refer to all cats as "kitten". My parents have a 16 year old cat and when I see him I always greet him with "Hello handsom kitten."
