I was given a uniform at work. And I have put on some weight
because I have been going to the gym and put on some muscle. So now, my pants are getting tighter and I might need a larger pair. Would it come of as weird If I asked for a larger pair? or am I making a mountain out if a mole hill so to speak?
Totally normal to ask for a uniform that fits. I'm actually surprised to hear that your pants are tight from gaining muscle though. From what I've heard, usually that makes your clothing fit better/looser even with the few extra pounds. However, I'm sure if you continue to gain muscle your size will go down, but ask for the new pants for now. You should be comfy! Lots of people have enough on their mind not to even give it a second thought if you ask for a different size pants, but if they do say something that really says something about them, not you! Congrats on gaining the muscle that's great :)!
You should wait. Gain more and do a realistic Hulk impression-flex and bust right out of your clothes. Then you don't even have to ask for a new uniform and everyone will see you're buff, not fat.
Yes, but don't get it too baggy so you look like a bum.
I prefer my clothes comfortably tight.

It's normal, not weird or awkward in the slightest. Just ask for a bigger size in the uniform
