Is it weird?

I am a 18 (almost 19) year old male and I obviously have a lot of friends my age that I enjoy talking to and have fun with but in also have a few really good younger friends (like 12, 14, and 15 are the three main friends). I don't talk to the 12 year old as much because that is obviously the largest gap and I'm more of an older brother to him. The 15 year old I only really see in the summer but we become really good friends and I like hanging out with him a lot (sometimes more than my friends my age). The 14 year old I talk to almost every day and again it's sort of like an older brother thing but again I like talking to him more than I do most of my friends my age. Sorry about the long post but thanks for bearing with me!

I have the same situation 6

It's not weird, I'm 20 I have friends down to 15, and friends upto 30 :) so I wouldn't worry, age is just a number.

That's alright! I easily befriend younger people. I have a 4-year-old friend, who could tell the difference between me and my sister, so he always grabs my arm and says, "C'mon! Let's play! I got new toys."

Then, I have a couple of other friends that I met last year. They were in first grade, but their almost at third! They grow up so fast!

Realy normal im 18 and have 3 freinds my age and the rest are older or younger.
The youngest is 14 and the oldest is 26, I never realy interacted with kids my age when I was younger as I was put forward 2 years at school so all my class mated were 2,3 years older but I still hung out with people younger than me

its normal dont let any1 tell u diffrent

Okay so you like someone younger. Big deal. My hobby, trains, brings me in to contact with loads of young people. We have sleep overs sometimes, we wrestle and watch gladitor movies. So what. If no one tells, there's no harm done. Right?

It's ok! Out of high school and by the time you reach 20's that age gap becomes normal. At your current ages the gap is large but it will cease to be and friends are friends. At 18 my best friend was 15. Only immature people 18+ I notice seem to think it's still questionable to be friends with anyone more than a half year older even when they're 28 asking if it's weird to befriend a 30 year old (goodness...). The older one like yourself may always wonder if it's weird but it isn't.

I don't understand what you could possibly have in common with those children. Perhaps you can offer them something, being more mature and knowledgeable, but what in the world could you gain from those relationships? They are hardly old enough to form an educated opinion on anything more important than Justin or Miley. What could you possibly talk about?
    I think it's weird.

You must have forgotten what it's like to be that age. Even I forget and think teens are all silly but that isn't true. There are topics we discuss even as teens until we are adults like our future careers and family the only change is updating on the info and some things never change, we hang out at the same places but as adults we throw in schedules and beer. Justin and Miley are also 20 reminding you and adults talk about them too, that they suck.

I don't have much in common with you, but I hope you think my weirdness is interesting.
