Is it true that short/petite girls have more choices in men than tall

I read that most guys don't want a tall girl as a girlfriend and go for petite girls. What's wrong with tall girls. Tall girls are called, "The Jolly Green Giant, Amazons, freaks, and some people say that tall girls are disgusting and gross and short girls are better in bed. I've never heard of that in my life. Also I read some tall girls don't wanna date short boys. I don't understand why society discriminates tall girls. Anyways, just asking.
I've been reading too many articles or whatever on the web.

    Well height is considered attractive in people, women have to be tall to become super models after all. I think it's just that some men find height on women intimidating. And many men are insecure about their height, not every guy gets blessed with a six foot frame. The shorter the woman, the taller and more manly he feels next to her.

    i feel like there is probably more tall girls who don't want a shorter boyfriend, than boys who don't want a taller girlfriend. i could be wrong, but that is just my preference and what i've heard. I wouldn't mind dating a tall girl.

    Well, i am a pratty tall man, and i prefer to being able to hug them without having to bend down.
    I also don`t like it when i make people feel inferior because of my height

    I prefer girls shorter than me (5'8"), but if a hot tall girl really likes me, then she's mine :)

    From the people I've talked to, women seem more concerned about getting a taller man. Do doubt some guys are intimidated by the height, but I think women spread the "man being taller" rule more.

    Look at any magazine or TV ad and look at those women who are damned near 6 ft. tall with those long legs and tell me that tall women are seen as less attractive in our society.

    As tommythecat said, some men find height on women intimidating. Personally, I feel that my being shorter makes me less attractive. I feel like a little kid around taller women.

    I wouldn't think that size has anything to do with me truly liking a girl or not, but the ones I have liked were all shorter than me or about the same height. Some men might feel insecure having a girlfriend that is taller than them.

    Height doesn't really matter, but if I were choosing, putting personality aside, I'd be more likely to choose a petite girl.

    Size or height does not make a difference, the ending point is Thigh-Land between the legs, as some one said “love begins from the eyes and end between the thighs”
