    It was never a compete free land but the new laws are puting us on a path where no one has freedom I well prepare for that day got a big as gun haa

    Complete freedom (of the individual) is anarchy. Complete lack of freedom (of the individual) is authoritarianism. America has always fitted (and for the foreseeable future will always fit) somewhere in between the two.

    America was never a free country. America is a republic. In order to be "free," it would have to be an anarchy, i.e., a utopian society.
